As a song-writer the content of his music addresses the complexity of life that touches all of us. Trancendent truth is expressed either autobiographically or observationally through life experiences.
The Aim
The intent of the songs James writes is three-fold. First, to engage listners in each song. Second, to express enduring truth for joyful living through life stories in song. Third, to uplift audiances and refresh their spirits.
The Style
Musically, James draws writing inspiration from the classic folk singer-songwriters of the 1960's-70's, weaving life stories together to offer hope, encouragement, caution, reflection, joy, gratitude, love,
and peace.
